Norman Glatzer, born in 1993 in Berlin, is a mushroom expert. Together with his wife Vanessa they host the YouTube channel "Buschfunkistan," and inspire hundreds of thousands of people with their knowledge of mushrooms, plants, algae, lichens, animals, and mosses from our natural environments. We meet cunning orchids that turn the heads of many an insect with their nasty tricks and bittersweet shrews that kill their victims with their deadly saliva. But we also encounter the web of mutual aid between the most diverse species. This book teaches us to better understand the habitats of our natural world and awakens in us a sense of wonder, mindfulness and love for them.
