Fatih Abay
Fatih Abay is since 2022 the Diversity & Inclusion Officer of the European Film Academy, where he is in charge of developing a diversity and inclusion strategy within the institution but also advocate it within the European film landscape. He has a B.A: in European Studies from the University Maastricht, The Netherlands and his M.A. in Political Sciences at Central European University Budapest, Hungary. Following he continued an academic career with a PhD in Cultural Antrhopology focusing on topics such as migration, diversity, gender and racism and worked also for a NGO in Germany combatting anti-discrimination and racism in the areas of outreach and advocacy.
Claudia Bedogni
Graduated with honors in Political Science – International Relations at the prestigious “Cesare Alfieri” University of Florence, Claudia Bedogni was then selected to participate in EMAM, the first European Master in Audiovisual Management, a project launched within the European Community programme MEDIA 95, aimed at training professionals with an international industrial culture to be included in the management of films and audiovisual companies.
Claudia began her career in the film sector first as Marketing and Acquisitions Manager for the distribution company Lady Film Srl, then as Head of International Acquisitions and Co-productions for the historic production and distribution company Istituto Luce/Cinecittà Luce Spa.
The experience gained in the cinematographic field has brought her closer and closer to her original interest in traveling the world for a better understanding of reality and different cultures and consolidated her perception of cinema as a unique and powerful tool for exploring the reality that surrounds us. In Claudia’s vision “a cinematographic work not only amuses and entertains but, above all, it can broaden our horizons, leading us on a journey that stimulates curiosity and discussion and confronts us with our deepest emotions”.
With this in mind, in 2013 she founded Satine Film, a film production and distribution company established with the purpose of discovering and making known visionary and courageous cinematic voices from all over the world. High profile cinematographic works, capable of combining artistic merit with relevant and stimulating content, aimed at entertaining but also at offering an extraordinary opportunity for reflection.
Since the company’s debut with the award-winning film “B easts of the Southern Wild” by Benh Zeitlin, Claudia has distributed films appreciated by critics and audiences such as Alabama Monroe by Felix Van Groeninger, Truman by Cesc Gay, Wajib by Annemarie Jacir, La Tierra y la sombra by Cesar Acevedo, Dovlatov by Alexej German Jr., There is No Evil by Mohammed Rasoulof, Inshallah a boy by Amjad al Rasheed. In 2019, to celebrate the thirtieth anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall, she brought the celebrated Goodbye Lenin by Wolfram Becker back to screen, a film which she had acquired in 2002 for Lady Film. Among the upcoming films in distribution is the highly anticipated Goodbye Julia by Mohamed Kordofani, winner of the “Freedom Prize” at the Cannes Film Festival and the acclaimed Sterben by Matthias Glasner, Silver Bear for Best Screenplay at the Berlinale 74.
Claudia is also a member of the European Film Awards of the European Film Academy and of the jury of the David di Donatello Award, and actively participates as a lecturer in national and international conferences and in training activities related to the world of film production and distribution.
Luca Severi
Luca Severi is a film producer and director, founder of the international production company LSPG, based in USA (Los Angeles) and Italy (Rome)
He has directed several feature projects, co-produced over 12 international films, and is the author and producer of 48 behind the scenes segments managing the LSPG Backstage.Film department, specializing in the production of promotional content. He has collaborated with foreign blockbusters like “The White Lotus 2” for which he was nominated for the 2023 Emmy Awards with the documentary “Unpacking the Episode,” along with the latest works of Ridley Scott and Joe Wright.
After producing the American colossal “The book of Clarence” with the American studio Legendary Pictures, his latest film “Tales of the Sea” was selected by the Rome Film Festival 2024 and will have its world premiere at the end of October.

Erika Giorgianni
Erika is a project manager for international film festivals, as well as other types of film and sports – related events.
With more than 20-year work experience in international film festival planning and various work experiences in major cultural and sports events.
Since 2003 she has been working for the Venice International Film Festival, in charge of the guest management of international guests from the film Industry (producers, distributors, buyers, funds etc.) and since 2021 in charge of the overall hospitality and guest management of the festival, including all Official Juries, Film Teams and invited Artistic Directors of other international Festivals.
Since 2007, she has been working at the Berlin International Film Festival and the European Film Market, in charge of the guest management of the invited buyers from the international film industry and responsible for the programming of the Market Screenings (around 700 films, 1.000 screenings).
A graduate in Translation Studies and in Language and Literature, Certificate of Advanced Studies in Football Management (UEFA CFM), Master in Management and Organisation of Events, Erika‘s personal interests encompass football and cinema.
